Raw Sugar is a licensed café located in the heart of Ottawa’s Chinatown district. Menu offerings include fair trade organic coffee and tea, sweet treats and savoury goods including vegan and gluten-free options, as well as local organic Beau’s beer. The intimate setting has been described by patrons as their home away from home - a community driven centre that encourages artists, parents, and lefties to gather and experience a familiar comfort. The space holds a unique variety of live music and events programming, and has a library/magazine rack for those relaxing afternoons. Raw Sugar is an eclectic venue where the arts and the community at large come to life.
